Roof Trusses - The Day after Day 4

Another day installing Roof Trusses yesterday.

Almost Done. Looking at the East (Front of the Home). The Portico Framing still to be set up. Trusses over Garage supported until Blocklayer ready to commence.

Another 3 metres of Firewood delivered. Will be moved into the Woodshed shortly ....

Roof Trusses - Day 3

Third day on installing Roof Trusses, Set up of Temporary Site Toilet to Septic, and Steel Beams and Posts for supporting Alfresco arrive

Galvanised Steel Beam positioned over one of the Sliding Doors adjacent to Kitchen
The remainder of Posts and Beams in Position
Plumber sets up Temporary Site Toilet to Septic and connects water so as to be able to flush. Therefore no need to have the toilet periodically emptied by professionals

Roof Trusses going up .... Day 1 and Day 2

A completed Woodshed ....














and .... Carpenters setting up and starting to position the maze of coded trusses into position.

Starting from the rear of the house With Bedrooms 2, 3, Bathroom and Rumpus Room

Roof Trusses delivered

Our Carpenter Mick called to advised that our Trusses were arriving today. Mid-afternoon the first of two Trucks arrived. Trusses are ready for the Carpenters on Monday.

Temporarily placing on Top Plates over our Robes, Bedroom, Ensuite and Foyer until the Carpenters start assembling on Monday.

This is the last batch with a really long span being lifted
Thank goodness for space to swing the crane around. Driver said he loves this type of delivery as against a suburban block of land.

Now, an hour later, rain, rain and more rain. Timing was perfect!

Have achieved quite a lot in exactly three weeks since the pouring of the Slab. However, the Bank balance is decreasing as quickly as the structure is increasing.
