Framing Timber Delivery

Day 5: Wednesday - Finally the Slab Pour

Concrete Pump turned up at 6:30 am to set up for a 7:00 am start. Freezing morning, but promising to be the perfect day with sun and no rain.

First Cement Mixer Truck turned up at 7:00 am. Twelve concrete contractors ready to go. Watching them work was amazing. Such team work and precision. 

Pump unable to reach the rear of the slab pour so had to move to the North side towards the rear

Form work removed to expose a perfect slab

This is the garage and portico step down

20 Cement Mix Trucks, a total of 153.8 cubic metres poured.

We've waiting what seems like an eternity for today. Our slab is finally being poured and work will move forward from here on.
