Shower Base tiling a little tricky!

Floor Tiling continues in the Bathroom with the Shower base tiling proving to be both time consuming and a little tricky. Now we understand why Builders and Tilers use the small mosaic sheets of tiles for shower floors. They allow for more manoeuvrability. We however have preferred to use the same tile throughout. Persistence has paid off as the most important thing is to get the tile cuts and levels correct so that you have fall of water directly to the drain. A job well done. Will complete the walls in the bathroom and then grout.

Looking good!
Cutting tiles
What man-shed would be complete without some organised storage for tools and the like?

Have installed a timber board which after a couple of coats of black blackboard paint will do nicely for hanging storage systems and loose tools and gadgets.

Had a bit of a clean up and burn-off of boxes. They come thick and fast with every new item or fitting. Kids first had a bit of a play in one of the huge boxes before the burn-off though.

Who doesn't enjoy watching a fire?

Keeping watch with Bucket of Water ready!

..... and Spring is finally here and what a beautiful sunny day.

Messing around on the Ride-on Mower obviously with blades disengaged!
Vrooooooom!!
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Just 6 more years before I can drive!!
Base Coat Painted on Walls
We all know what a coat of paint will do to brighten things up!

We've decided to try the Dulux "Antique White USA" that everyone brags about. If we like it in the Shed, then we may use it in the new House.
We're also leaning towards "Whisper White".
Will upload photos when we've painted two coats in a few weeks.
